Water leak results in early dismissal of Red River Parish students

COUSHATTA, LA (KSLA)- Officials with the Town of Coushatta Water System report Wednesday a water leak in the area that resulted in schools in the area being dismissed early.

The Superintendent of Red River Parish Schools, Kay Easley announced Wednesday morning the early dismissal of three schools in Red River. 

Town officials say two of the three schools were without water along with some residents near the schools.

No word on how long residents affected will be without water, but be sure to stay tuned in to KSLA News 12 and KSLA.com for future any new developments.
