Bossier City, LA(KSLA)- Bossier City Police are investigating a major single car accident in Bossier City. It happened around 7:45 Friday evening.
Witnesses say that a car traveling on I-220 at a high rate of speed went across Shed Road exit into a field and then came to a rest into a culvert.
According to Mark Natale with the Bossier City Police, the man was taken to LSU Hospital.
Sources tell KSLA News that the male driver involved in the car accident is the Bossier City Marshal Johnny Wyatt.
Bossier City Police have not confirmed the reports yet but anticipate more information to be available Saturday morning.
