BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – Bossier City Firefighters have battled a blaze Saturday afternoon that completely destroyed a home in the 5400 block of Coach Rd. in the Stockwell Place Subdivision on the northern side of the city.
The 9-1-1 call was made at 12:30 p.m. and crews were on the scene within four minutes and upon arrival, found the house engulfed in flames where it had already broken through the top of the roof.
When crews arrived, they were initially told that a woman who lived at the house may have been inside the house. Firefighters quickly made entry and began searching the house but learned a neighbor had helped the woman get out unharmed. No one else was at home at the time of the fire.
So far no injuries have been reported, but numerous fire units were dispatched to the scene to help contain the blaze.
