Here are some local corn mazes to go through for the fall season

KILGORE, TX (KSLA) – Now that fall is here, people are getting ready for the festivals and pumpkin patches.  One local owner hopes to bring back an old tradition of fall: a cornfield maze.

The ten foot corn stalks at Danville Farms in Kilgore, Texas, make wonderful walling for an old time maze.

"The main trick is keeping your patience and having a good sense of direction," said Daylen Borders, Danville Maize co-owner. "In fact some folks ask us, 'hey, can I bring my GPS?'"

"Sure, if you think it'll help you, absolutely."

The five acre maze is a puzzle, and that's what a maze is all about.

The maze at Danville Farms opens Friday, September 24, 2010, at 5 p.m. and will be open every weekend throughout the fall.

And if you're looking for a place to get lost in Louisiana, you're in luck.

The crew at Dixie Maze at Country Fun Farms, have called on local celebrity Billy the Exterminator.

This year the annual cornfield maze at Country Fun Farm features the Vexcon logo set on a bed of spider webs.

This maze opens Saturday, September 25, 2010. It will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through November 20, 2010.
