2nd arrest made in MLK late night drive-by shooting

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –Shreveport Police report Wednesday a second arrest made in a shooting in Shreveport's Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood in early September.

On Tuesday night, police arrested 28-year-old DeCarlos Theus and charged him with attempted 1st degree murder in the shooting of 53-year-old Willie Collins.

Collins was reportedly shot while inside his home in the 6000 block Addition Ave. Shreveport Police say a car driving by allegedly opened fire. Collins was shot in the back.

Police say Collins is expected to be okay.  Police have already arrested 30-uyear-old Demarcus Burns in connection to this shooting.
