WASHINGTON, DC (KSLA) – More than 1.2 million light-up rings and toy eyeglasses featured at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants nationwide are being recalled by the federal government, concerned that children might swallow a small battery inside.
The closest Chuck E. Cheese in the KSLA News 12 viewing area is in Bossier City, Louisiana and in Texarkana, TX.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the toys can break, exposing the button-type batteries inside. Swallowing the battery can lead to a host of potential health problems, including serious physical damage.
No deaths have been reported.
