Shreveport, LA (KSLA)- Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw placed a Shreveport Police officer on administrative leave Friday night after an allegation of possible policy violations.
Officer Eddie Williams, hired by the department in February of 2006, was placed on paid administrative leave by Chief Shaw pending an internal investigation into alleged policy violations that were brought to the Chief's attention by a police supervisor.
Chief Shaw has ordered a criminal investigation into the matter as well.
