Bossier City, LA(KSLA)- Bossier Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 2900 block of White Oak Drive early this morning after receiving a call about a man who had been stabbed. They were also informed that there was a firearm at the residence.
When they arrived, they found Tykeysha Lajean Woods, 21, walking out of the home where the stabbing took place. Deputies said Woods was immediately detained after police saw blood on her clothes.
A female witness at the scene told deputies she was at the stabbing victim's house when Woods started banging on the door. According to the witness, Woods and the man started arguing while the witness was in the living room. That's when Woods used a knife to gash the victim's arm. Woods, who told deputies that she and the male victim had been living together for a while, was transported to the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and booked. She was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery domestic violence. Her bond is pending.
