SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –A Shreveport toddler was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon, but is expected to be okay.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. at Kings Hwy. near Line Ave.
Shreveport investigators say a mother was pushing her toddler in a stroller across Kings Hwy. near Line Ave. when the stroller was clipped by a car as it was turning out of the Walgreens and the child reportedly tumbled into the street.
The mother and child were reportedly not in the crosswalk at the time. Paramedics took the child to a Shreveport hospital as a precaution.
