Coast Guard rescues 4 people after plane crash in S. Louisiana

TERREBONNE, LA (KSLA) – The Coast Guard rescues four people after their plane crashes in the Gulf.

This happened in the waters just off the coast of Terrebonne, Louisiana. A call went out just after 8:30 Wednesday morning, September 1st, that the plane had to make an emergency landing in the Gulf.

Two people on board used the plane's life raft, while the other two stayed on board to communicate with the rescuers.

All four were quickly rescued by helicopter and taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
