Local Barbers & stylists give back to students

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Barbers and stylists from all around Shreveport will be giving back to area students on Monday by providing free haircuts and hairstyles.

Under-privileged youth grades K-12 can get a free haircut or hairstyle on Monday, August 16, 2010 from 8am-5pm at 12 area salons.

All children MUST be accompanied by an adult to receive services.  All participating stylist and barbers are licensed professionals.  They will use our professional judgment when determining what services should be rendered to each child.  All barbers and stylists reserve the right to refuse any and all services. They will not provide any services that require the usage of additional hair.  All haircuts will be uniform appropriate for Caddo and Bossier Parish School requirements.
