FOREMAN, AR (KSLA) – Arson is being blamed for the fire that destroyed three buildings in the Little River town of Foreman early Tuesday morning, including the town's only pharmacy.
Authorities say the blaze began about 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning. The two building destroyed along with the pharmacy were vacant.
A combination office/storage building and a flea market suffered smoke damage.
One police officer was slightly injured in the fire when he kicked down a door to make sure the buildings were empty.
Foreman Police, Little River County deputies and the Arkansas State Police are investigating the fire. So far, no cause for the blaze has been found, but authorities think the fire began in one of the vacant buildings.
