Child in Hospital After Being Struck By Car

SHREVEPORT (KSLA) – Shreveport police say a child was hit by a car at the intersection of Wyngate Boulevard and Kingridge Place around 7:45 Wednesday night.

Authorities say the 10 year old child was riding a motorbike when he reportedly ran a stop sign just before getting hit by a gray 1991 Toyota Camry.

The juvenile was rushed to LSU hospital with head and leg injuries. Police say he is in PICU this morning.
