WASHINGTON (AP) - The Department of Defense says two soldiers from Texas and New Hampshire have been killed in Afghanistan.
The Defense Department said in a news release Saturday that Capt. Jason E. Holbrook of Burnet, Texas, and Staff Sgt. Kyle R.
Warren of Manchester, N.H., were killed when an improvised explosive device hit their military vehicle. Both were 28.
The Defense Department says the attack happened Thursday in Tsagay, Afghanistan.
The men were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, N.C.
