Posted: Updated:

Shreveport, LA (KSLA)- The beginning of the school year is right around the corner for many Ark-La-Tex students and many families could be in need of school supplies for their children.

KSLA News 12, Party Central Family Fun Center have teamed up in "Stuff the Bus" program in an attempt to help out local schools get supplies for their students. This program will try to get as many school supplies "stuffed in an empty bus" that will in turn be donated to Caddo and Bossier Parish public schools who will give them out to students in need. Saturday was the last chance to stuff the bus at the Shreve-City Wal-Mart.

KSLA News 12 is also partnering with Celebration Church and River Park Church as well in this program.

But, you can also donate all the way until Monday, August 2nd by dropping off supplies at KSLA News 12's studios at 1812 Fairfield Ave. or at Party Central located at 4401 Viking Drive in Bossier City.
