Crime Stoppers tip in missing girl case

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – A Crime Stoppers tip has given Shreveport Police a lead in the case of a missing girl.  Twelve year old Amber White was last seen Sunday afternoon in the 6900 block of Buncombe Road.  Amber's parents called police when she did not return from the neighborhood pool.  The Crime Stoppers tip says that two people saw a girl matching Amber's description get into a dark blue 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass with license plate "SZS307" in the 6900 block of Buncombe.  The witnesses said a black male was driving the car.  Detectives are working to find the owner of the vehicle and identify the driver.

Amber is a white female, five feet nine inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. She has brown eyes and reddish-blonde hair and was last seen wearing a green "Soulja Boy" t-shirt, cut off blue jean shorts, and a navy blue, white and brown crop jacket.
