LSU proposes large financial cuts

BATON ROUGE, LA (KSLA) – Serious cuts may be in store for the LSU campus in Baton Rouge.

The school released a report Tuesday July 13th, where the potential 46 million dollars in cuts could come from.

First to go, would be the writing center and the art gallery. Deeper cuts would mean the loss of five million dollars in scholarships.

If that is not enough, continuing education would see cuts and some art and drama classes would go away completely.
