MBI versus the City of Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Hundreds of jobs could be at stake here in Shreveport, while the city and the company MBI, go head to head over a leasing contract.

MBI took the old Beaird company building over in early 2009, promising to put hundreds back to work.

Since then, the Mayor's office has sent a letter of default to MBI stating that it has not kept up the property, and has not put citizens back to work.

MBI told city leaders on Monday July 12th, that it takes time to get a large manufacturing contract. Keep it here at KSLA.com and stay tuned-in to KSLA News 12 for the latest on this developing story.
