BATON ROUGE, LA (KSLA) – Governor Bobby Jindal has signed a bill allowing concealed handguns inside state churches.
Churches, Synagogues, and Mosques that choose to follow the law will have to let their congregations know.
Anyone wishing to carry a concealed weapon in a church will have to take an extra eight hours of tactical training each year.
The new law does not apply to churches on school property.
Fourteen people were injured after the second floor of Rogue Water Taphouse collapsed Saturday evening.
The signs of abuse were reported but the system still failed to protect 4-year-old Aniya Day-Garrett.
