South LA family offers reward for homicide info

NEW IBERIA, La. (AP) - The family of a New Iberia woman strangled two years ago is offering a $10,000 reward for tips leading to the conviction of her killer.

Buddy Blanchard, of Bakersfield, Calif., says someone has to know something about who killed his sister, Judy Blanchard Landry.

Another brother, Whitney Blanchard, of Huntsville, Ala., says investigators don't return phone calls, and the information the family gets is often conflicting.

Both the Iberia Parish sheriff's office and the district attorney say the case is still under active investigation.
