SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Several people are back in their homes after a bomb scare at a local apartment complex.
Shreveport Police were called to the Treetop Apartments on Raspberry Lane after an employee at the complex found what they thought was a bomb.
The previous tenants of the apartment had recently moved out.
The Shreveport fire and police departments, along with the bomb squad, responded to the scene and evacuated 32 apartments in the area.
After a couple of hours everyone was let back inside their apartments.
The device and its purpose remains a mystery.
