A suspect wanted in connection with the first degree murder of a Bossier City man is now in custody.
30-year old Deeddrick Jackson, 30, of Shreveport was arrested this morning after detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit obtained information about Jackson's possible location in Shreveport. Detectives along with Shreveport police responded to a house in the 2000 block of Brent Street where Jackson was arrested without incident.
Jackson was booked into the Bossier City Jail on a warrant charging him with first degree murder and was subsequently transferred to the Bossier Maximum Facility where he's being held without bond.
Jackson was wanted for the robbery and murder of 53-year old Kelley Edward White on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Mission Village Apartments in the 400 block of John Wesley Boulevard where White resided.
That same day detectives arrested Jackson's girlfriend, Melissa Williams, 31, of Shreveport on a charge of first degree murder in connection with the case.
