Fundraiser to benefit two flash flood victims' families from LA

Gloster, LA(KSLA)-  Two families from the Ark-La-Tex have felt the devastation of the flash flood that happened in Arkansas last week that killed 20 people who were camping at Albert Pike Campground.  

The Basingers and the Smiths from Gloster, LA both unfortunately lost family members, and some of them were children.

A friend of the family has organized a benefit ride at Highlifter Offroad Park that will take place on July 10th from 8am to 6pm. The fundraiser will feature live entertainment and a raffle. Kids will get in free and adult's admittance fee is 15 dollars.

All proceeds will go the families. For more information call Becky Johnson at 318-655-1489.

Also organizers say that anyone who wants to donate a raffle item, that it would mean more money for the families.
