Human bones found in downtown Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shreveport Police and the Caddo Coroner's Office have a big day ahead of them tomorrow as they attempt to dig up more human remains located near downtown Shreveport.

The bones were discovered by some construction workers who were digging behind a building in the 300 block of Douglas Street.

Considering this was the site of a slaughter house many years ago, it would not have surprised anyone if these bones were all animal, but again, after analysis, some of these bones are said to be human.

Thoma went on to say that these are very old bones.

But this is still considered a criminal investigation until it's determined otherwise.
