SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Sadly, Memorial Day could not come and go without crimes committed, and now Shreveport Police are on the lookout for up to five juveniles; one of them carrying apparently carrying a gun.
A store manager at Quick Stop in the 3000 block of Greenwood Road notified Shreveport Police when he says the juveniles in his store.
He says a 12 year-old tucked a gun in his waistband of his clothes.
During the neighborhood search, a police officer apparently shot the dog of homeowner Patricia Waynes.
"He said the dog charged at him, but my dog was on a chain on a leash, like he's supposed to be," says Waynes.
Waynes says she plans to take action.
As of last check, the juveniles have not been caught.
