Convoy of Turkish ships intercepted by Israel's Navy

TURKEY(KSLA) – As many as 16 people are killed after a convoy of Turkish ships was intercepted by Israel's Navy.

The six ship convoy was headed for Gaza with aid, in defiance of Israel's blockade of the territory. Turkey sponsored the emergency supplies.

Turkey's foreign ministry says the interception is unacceptable. He also said Israel will have to bear the consequences for it's actions. An Israeli cabinet is expressing regret for the deaths on board these aid ships headed for Gaza.

Turkey is withdrawing it's ambassador to Israel after the Israeli commandos shot and killed at least 10 pro-Palestinian supporters attempting to bring humanitarian aid to the Gaza strip.

Tens of thousands have rallied against Israel this morning in the Turkish capital.
