TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) – Fire crews were busy last night responding to multiple fires that broke out in homes across Texarkana.
Two fires broke out in 3200 block of Laurel Street just before 11 PM last night, Wednesday May 26th. When crews arrived on the scene, both houses were fully engulfed in flames. Luckily, both homes were vacant and there were no working utilities at either house. A group of teens spotted the fire and called 911. Investigators believe the cause of these two house fires may have been arson.
Also in Texarkana, fire units were called out just after midnight to 2204 College Drive. The neighbors saw smoke coming out of the home and made the call to 911. It is believed that this fire started under a carport but the cause is still under investigation. Apparently, no one was home during the fire.
