Raids & arrests at six Bossier Parish businesses

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – An eight-month investigation resulted in raids on six Bossier Parish businesses Wednesday morning.  Investigators have arrested 18 people so far on charges involving drug paraphernalia and counterfeit items.   More arrests are expected.

The Bossier City Police Department, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office, and Louisiana State Police are all involved in this investigation.  Law enforcement raided five Bossier City businesses and one in Haughton.  The investigation found that the businesses were allegedly selling counterfeit items and drug paraphernalia.  The charges includes illegal use of counterfeit trademark, money laundering, racketeering, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
