Woman found dead at rest stop identified

GREENWOOD, LA (KSLA) – The woman found dead in a vehicle at the I-20 Welcome Center has been identified as a woman reported missing in Tyler, Texas.  Twenty-six year old Edwina Shavon Jiminez (also known as Edwina Shavon Ibezim) was found in her vehicle Sunday at the center in Greenwood, Louisiana.  Investigators believe she had been dead for some time.  They say the autopsy conducted Monday revealed no sign of trauma or foul play.

Jiminez's family reported her missing on Saturday, May 22nd.  Caddo Parish investigators say she had visited a local casino on Friday morning.  The investigation continues.
