Exclusive: Vanilla Ice interview on KSLA News 12

Bossier City, La (KSLA)-The rapper Rob Van Winkle, better known as Vanilla Ice is in Shreveport. Vanilla Ice is expected to hold a performance on Saturday night at 10 at Fat Daddy's night club in Bossier City at the Louisiana Board Walk.

In an exclusive interview to KSLA, Vanilla Ice talked about how happy he is with his life right now.  He is currently on world tour promoting his new songs.

"We're going to bring them back to the old school, have some good memories, see if some of these people remember where they were at maybe in high school with ... maybe they're learning the dance for the first time but we've also got to introduce some of my new music to everybody.  I got the number one record in the U.K. right now.  So, I'm pretty excited to introduce that here tonight." Said Van Winkle.

Rob, as he likes his friends and family to call him, rose to fame 20 years ago after his song "Ice Baby Ice" became a big hit.

The manager at Fat Daddy's expected the show to be a sell out and the club, which can only fit 900 people, to be filled up.
