Second Circle K store robbery

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shreveport police are searching for the suspect that robbed a Circle K store just before midnight last night.

The male suspect wearing a white mask, entered the Circle K store in the 300 block of Southfield Rd. and demanded all the Newport and Kool cigarettes. The witness said the man ordered the employees into a back room where cartons of cigarettes are stored and handed the clerk a black garbage bag where he put the cigarettes. Although the suspect never pulled out a weapon, the witness says he acted as if he had one. The suspect then shut the employees in the office and fled the store with the stolen cigarettes.

Investigators believe that this man is the same suspect that committed a similar robbery on May 12th at the Circle K on Youree Dr., while wearing an "I love Jesus" hat.

Authorities need your help in identifying and apprehending this suspect. He is described as a black male in his forties, approximately 5'8 to 5'10 and heavily built. If you have any information regarding this suspect or the robberies he allegedly committed, please call Shreveport Police at 318-673-6955 or Shreveport-Caddo Parish Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
