Fire near downtown Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – A fire broke was reported at around 5:30 this Friday morning near Coon Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Shreveport, according to dispatchers.

Seven emergency units and fire crews are on the scene of the blaze near downtown Shreveport. The house has been vacant for years and the family that owns the property says it has been broken in to numerous times. The family suggests it may have been arson.
