SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – A man who robbed a Shreveport convenient store this morning, didn't want any money and police are led to believe he may be a religious man.
Authorities are working to track down the "religious robber" who wore a hat as a disguise to rob the Circle K at 1:30 a.m. this Wednesday May 12th. The man told the clerk at the Circle K on Youree drive that he had a gun, although he never pulled it out. He demanded nothing but a bag full of cigarettes.
Police are told the robber is an older man possibly between the ages of 45 and 50, heavy-set, and six feet tall. Also, he was last seen wearing glasses, a gray shirt, jeans, and an "I love Jesus" cap. He may be driving an older model gray vehicle, possibly a Cadillac and fled the scene heading North on Youree drive.
