CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) –The search is on in Caddo Parish for a suspect or suspects who reportedly stole money from a north Caddo Parish video poker machine.

Caddo Parish Sheriff's deputies report that two businesses in North Caddo Parish were broken into early Thursday morning.

The call first went out around 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Deputies say that Elbert's #2 on Hwy. 71 in Ida, Louisiana was the suspect(s) first attempt. Reportedly the suspect(s) drove a stolen pickup through the building to try and access video poker machines.

However, deputies say that they were unsuccessful and ended up leaving the alleged stolen truck behind.

Caddo Parish Sheriff's deputies urge anyone with information related to either of these two crimes to call Caddo detectives at (318) 675-2170 or Shreveport Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
