BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) – KSLA News 12 has learned that a body has been discovered in Bossier Parish.
We spoke to Bossier Parish Sheriff's spokesman Ed Baswell, who confirms a body was found along Red Chute Bayou, east of the race track.
The body was discovered by two fishermen at 2:30pm. Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office responded and recovered the body.
The coroner has the body, and is likely to determine the sex and identity by Friday.
Officials say it appears that the body had been in the bayou for quite some time.
The only case of a missing person in that area was that of Nancy Miller, but investigators have stopped short or will not confirm that the body found was Miller.
