SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport Police continue Tuesday afternoon to investigate an one-vehicle crash in which a car nearly ended up in a Shreveport bayou.
The accident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at E. Kings Hwy. at Kings Crossing.
According to police, the victim was driving southbound on East Kings when for an unknown reason hit a curb, careened down a hill, resting after hitting a tree, which was just less than five feet away from a nearby bayou.
Police believe the victim may have suffered from a medical condition, but that has yet to be confirmed. The victim was taken to a Shreveport hospital, extent of injuries are unknown at this time.
