SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – A vacant house was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon. Shreveport firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire in the 200 block of East 79th Street.
When they arrived, the wood framed house was completely engulfed in flames. It took firefighters less than 20 minutes to control.
However, it did present a possibly dangerous scenario when the roof collapsed.
We're told firefighters did not go in, because the house was already starting to cave in when they arrived.
