BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – A Shreveport man has been arrested in Bossier City for alleged possession of large amounts of drugs and cash.
Bossier City Police report that they arrested 24-year-old Tracy William following routine patrols in the 1600 block of Jimmie Davis Highway, in which Davis allegedly made an improper lane change, which led to a traffic stop.
According to police, Williams consented to a search of his vehicle and that's when officers found more than a pound and a half of marijuana inside the trunk, along with $1500 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Police add that Williams' two children, boys, ages 2 and 7 were also in the vehicle at the time of the stop and neither child was restrained.
Williams right now is in the Bossier City jail facing numerous possession charges along with charges of expired driver's license, no child restraint, improper lane usage and no headlights.
Police report the two children were released to their mother.
