Teens reporting break-in, arrested

KEITHVILLE, LA (KSLA) – A group of teens who reported a residential burglary in Keithville has now been charged in connection with a crime they reported.

Eighteen-year-old Micah Prewitt has confessed to breaking into a home on Williams Road.

Several items were missing, including a flat-screen TV, a camera, and jewelry.

He says his friends reported the burglary, but provided false information about the suspect to mislead authorities.

Eighteen-year-olds Garrett Lacy and Jeremy Parmer were arrested for accessory after the fact and providing false information.

Seventeen-year-old Jacob Griffin and 18-year-old Paul Delgado are also accessories.  They allegedly took the stolen items to Prewitt's house in Haughton.

At least two of the suspects may have a connection to other home burglaries in south Shreveport.
