Born and raised in Arlington, Texas. Since the age of four, he has been playing or watching sports, especially baseball where he was on scholarship as a part of the Belhaven Blazers baseball team and selected First Team All-GCAC Conference pitcher.
After graduating cum laude from Belhaven University with a Communications degree, Colin's television career started in Corpus Christi at KZTV which led him to Laredo where he was Sports Director at KVTV. Colin has most recently worked as the weekend sports anchor/reporter in Lubbock at KCBD for over four years… covering Big 12 schools, high school athletics, professional teams, and non-traditional sports.
Being a former athlete, Colin remains very active. When he is not at work, you can find Colin in the gym, swimming at Centenary, on his bike or running on the Red River trails as part of training for triathlons and different races. Colin has competed in countless triathlons and marathons including his biggest accomplishment of completing all 140.6 miles of Ironman Texas in May 2012.
