SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –  Shreveport Police have made an arrest in the city's second early morning homicide in as many days.  Police were called to the Quail Creek Apartments off of Shreveport-Barksdale Highway just before 4:00 AM Sunday, where a 29 year old man was found stabbed to death inside his apartment.

Two kitchen knives are believed to be the murder weapons.  His name has not yet been released, pending notification of his family.

Shreveport Police tell KSLA News 12 that 24 year old Kimethia
Coleman is charged with manslaughter in the deadly stabbing.  Investigators say Coleman told them an unidentified black male had come in to the apartment and stabbed the victim.  Based on their interviews with her, detectives determined that Coleman and the victim were romantically involved, and that she stabbed him during some type of domestic dispute.

46 year old Etta Thomas was shot to death just 3:00 AM Saturday morning at her home in the 5700 block of Ellison Street in Shreveport.  Her live-in boyfriend, 50 year old Connor Brown, is charged with 2nd degree murder.  Police say Brown shot Thomas in the head after a verbal argument escalated into violence.
