Bossier body found in pool identified

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -Bossier City police have released preliminary autopsy results for the man's body that was found in a Bossier City apartment complex's swimming pool Tuesday.

According to results so far, 24-year-old Benjamin Phillip King of Shreveport died as a result of drowning.

King's body found Tuesday afternoon in the Alexis Park Apartments, located in the 2200 block of Loreco St. in Bossier City.

Police say they were able to identify King by his fingerprints. A maintenance worker with the apartment complex discovered the body, according to police.

Right now, police investigators and detectives are working to figure out exactly how the man died.
