Bossier officers fired following ADA's arrest

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – Two Bossier City police officers, one a reserve officer, involved in the arrest of Bossier Assistant District Attorney, Sherb Sentell were fired today (Thursday).

An official Bossier City Police Department termination notice states that the officers said Sentell threatened their jobs and tried to use his position of power to intimidate them, the notice states that video evidence contradicts those claims.

The officers tell KSLA News 12 in an exclusive interview that the termination is without merit and they will appeal it through the civil service board.

We'll have much more on this developing story tonight on KSLA News 12 at 5, 6 and 10.
