SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – Shots rang out at a Shreveport gas station Monday afternoon, in what police believe was a drug deal that ended in gunfire.
It happened at the In & Out gas station in the 4300 block of Linwood Avenue around 2pm.
Police say the victim was filling up at the pump when a man in a gray hooded sweatshirt approached him.
"There was some sort of argument, scuffle, shots were fired, at least two shots were fired the individual was struck in the lower part of his body; probably the legs," says Det. Rod Demery,
The victim was able to talk with police before being taken to LSU hospital.
The gunman fled south on Linwood and has not been seen since.
