Grand Jury deliberates Bossier police shooting

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) – A grand jury could decide this week whether any charges should be filed in a fatal police-involved shooting.

A Bossier City police officer shot and killed Scott Gray on Oct. 2.

Police Chief Mike Halphen later called the shooting "necessary", saying that gray tackled one officer, punched him and tried to pull the officer's gun from his holster forcing the other to shoot Gray five- times.

Internal affairs already cleared both officers in the case.
