BSO arrest Haughton man for cattle theft

HAUGHTON, LA (KSLA) – Bossier Parish authorities arrested a Haughton man for allegedly selling his neighbor's cows to the highest bidder.

26-year-old Saryan Dotson, according to Bossier deputies lives near the victim's pasture and had begun asking people if they would like to buy some cattle.

Investigators say Dotson even wrote up a Bill of Sale with a client to sell all 36 cows for $2,000, but it's when the real owner of the cattle reportedly caught the buyer trying to load up the cattle.

Dotson is now in the Bossier Maximum Security Facility on a $10,000 bond facing a theft of livestock charge.
