Tyler Police investigating possible abduction

TYLER, TX (KSLA) – Police in Tyler are investigating a possible abduction, after receiving a call about a possible kidnapping around 9pm Wednesday night.

Callers said that a black female walking south on Loop 323, just north of the Whataburger at 345 SSW Loop 323, was grabbed and forced into a car. 

She was approached by a black male, approximately 30-years old, wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. 

While she was talking to the man, a white car, possibly a Nissan Sentra parked behind them on Whiteside at the Loop and put on the emergency flashers.

The driver of the Sentra, a black male about 6’ tall, wearing dark blue shirt and blue jeans approached the black female from behind and grabbed her. 

He then carried the alleged victim, kicking and screaming, to the passenger side of the white car and forced her inside the vehicle.

The male in the green shirt, then looks around and runs to the driver side of the white car and got into the driver seat.

They sat there for a short time, then drove away. The vehicle left north bound on the loop.

Witnesses say the alleged victim is approximately 23-years-old, and about 5’06” tall.They also say she was wearing a white sweater and blue jeans. 

The investigation is on-going.
