SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) – A Shreveport man recently convicted by a Caddo Parish jury back in October for a 2006 murder has been officially sentenced.

22-year-old Thomas Payne Horn was convicted of 2nd degree murder in the death of Troy Killough of Shreveport.

Horn was sentenced Tuesday by a Caddo District Judge, Leon Emanuel to mandatory life in prison without the benefit of parole.

According to investigators, Killough was kidnapped, beaten and shot twice in the head following a confrontation with four people at a house party back in December 2006.

Three others have already pled guilty to related charges in the case with sentences ranging from 13 to 20 years.
