PLEASANT HILL, LA (KSLA) –The Pleasant Hill Police Department and Sabine Parish officials needs the public's help in capturing a man who reportedly out cashing bogus checks at Louisiana convenience stores.
According to Pleasant Hill Police Chief Ray Williams, the alleged suspect has struck again, this time at a convenience store in Florien, Louisiana.
The bogus check suspect first allegedly hit Greg's Grocery, in Pleasant Hill. According to Chief Williams, the man reportedly cashed a fake UPS check that was made out to a man with the name Wilbert L. Johnson.
Chief Williams say the alleged suspect used a different name at the convenience store in Florien.
Sabine Parish Sheriff's Office is also working with Pleasant Hill police and urges anyone with information on this suspect to call the Pleasant Hill Police at (318) 796-2277.
