CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) - The Caddo Sheriff dive team recovered nearly $45,000 worth of stolen property Thursday, reportedly from a recent burglary of a Caddo Parish home.

Deputies tell KSLA that several pieces of jewelry were recovered in a bag. The bag reportedly belonged to suspected burglar, 22-year-old Sean Lindsey of Blanchard, Louisiana.

The alleged burglary reportedly happened back on October 23rd. Deputies say the occupants of the home returned home to find that someone had entered their home through an unlocked doggy door and helped themselves to a flatscreen TV, cameras, collectible coins, and jewelry.

Caddo Sheriff Investigators later learned that Lindsey and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Carrie Harris were reportedly responsible for breaking into the home.

Lindsey, according to deputies, upon learning that he was wanted in connection to the burglary reportedly through the stolen goods into Cross Lake.

Lindsey is currently in the Caddo Correctional Center facing a simple burglary charge, and Harris was issued a summons for misdemeanor theft.

Deputies say that Lindsey randomly picked the house to burglarize after knocking on the door and finding no one at home.
